About The Forum - 2 December 2009

The Digital Industry Forum is designed for people in our industry to meet each other, to see face to face what everyone is doing, and to identify business growth opportunities. This invitation-only forum is an action-packed day with keynote speakers, sector workshops, networking opportunities, expert advice, and entertainment, all focused on helping to develop your business and accelerate the growth of the digital industry in our region.

Please note this is not a broadband conference; it is what we do with it that is important.

Following on from the Digital Hamilton workshops earlier this year, the digital industry forum is designed for industry people to meet each other, hear what everyone is doing, and create business opportunities and growth. The digital industry is both a specialist sector and a business enabler. As an industry it is both creative it in its own right, and it also supports other key regional businesses.

We want to help firms create new and sustainable wealth for New Zealand. We would like to build collaboration among Waikato firms, and encourage and support the export sector in particular.

The forum is by invitation only. There is no attendance charge, and at the conclusion there will be the opportunity for networking with your colleagues, new and old, in the sector. We aim to finish the day with some key ideas for follow on projects to create new wealth for New Zealand.

The Digital Industry Forum is supported by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise with funding from the NZTE Regional Strategy Fund programme. It is hosted by SODA Inc. - Hamilton's new creative industries business incubator.

Our Companies page lists a catalogue of talent, expertise and services available in the regional digital sector. We would like to encourage and build collaboration among Waikato firms, and in particular to support the export sector. Our ultimate goal is to help firms in our region to create new and sustainable wealth for New Zealand by helping them step up to the next level in their business.

Our sincere thanks go to our keynote presenters, featured specialists, and panel of experts.
